Evaluation of sustainable supply chain risk: evidence from the Iranian food industry

Purpose The food industry is directly related to the health of humans and society also that little attention has been paid assessment sustainable supply chain risk management in this area, will be qualified as an important research area. This study aims develop a framework for assessing realm (confectionery chocolate) with case three generic companies denotes A1–A3. proposed was evaluated aforementioned manufacturing companies, these were ranked by Fuzzy-Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (F-WASPAS) method EXCEL. Design/methodology/approach evaluation carried out using integrated multi-criteria decision-making methods Best-Worst (BWM)-WASPAS. Via extensive literature review area chain, risks this, 9 criteria 59 sub-criteria identified. Using expert opinion industry, 8 39 identified final evaluation. weight main obtained F-BWM via LINGO software. Risk role identifying, analyzing providing solutions control risks. Findings following each group gained more weight: loss credibility brand, dangerous unhealthy working environment, unproductive use energy, human error, supplier quality, quality risk, product perishability security. Among criteria, economic have highest among alternatives, A3 first ranking. Originality/value Modeling unique contribution work.
